Verdeamarela

In an allusion to the name and concept of Gerrit Rietveld’s classic Red & Blue chair (1918), the Verdeamarela rocking chair incorporates numerous references to traditional furniture. Similar to the Red & Blue, which only received its colors in 1923, the Verdeamarela owes its name to the Brazilian national colors and is produced exclusively in monochromatic versions.

A tropical reinterpretation of Rietveld’s geometric form, the Verdeamarela introduces curves, a rocking motion, and a touch of flair.
