Sucuri

The Amazonian sucuri (aka anaconda), the root of legends and stories in several countries, is the central symbolism of the new collection by GS Tramas with Furf Design Studio.

Created between Curitiba and Milan, the furniture brings forth the surreal idea of a giant snake beneath the surface. Upon emerging, the animal curves creates an armchair, a bench, a table and a doorstop (the exact tip of the tail).

Each product carries an elegant borogodó and a generous minimalism. The natural fiber weaves mimic the snake’s skin and its aesthetic combines a language as Brazilian as it is global, through a design both contemporary and ancestral.
