Magic Numbers

Furf Design Studio was invited to design the signage for the floors of the new office of The Walt Disney Company in São Paulo.

The idea was to dive into the magical and inspiring universe of Disney so that people (and their inner child) can have fun while waiting for the elevator or even allow themselves a brief escape from work.

A hybrid between signage and toy, there are four numbers, each with a different game and inspiration: Donald and Mickey, Frozen, Toy Story, and even a Star Wars spaceship chase.

In production, the harmony between traditional woodworking techniques and the use of advanced 3D printing technology in nylon – which is extremely durable – is evident. This reflects Disney’s own essence, embracing the future while never losing sight of its rich cultural heritage from the past.
