Das Nuvens

The Das Nuvens consists of a collection of table accessories and kitchenware produced with poetry, practicality and socio-environmental responsibility.

Clouds made of dreams, of the imaginary, the desire to eat that special dish that makes the mouth water. Symbolic part of the global collective unconscious, the clouds of imagination are known from comic books and caricature drawings. A simple and familiar way that carries poetry and a moment of discovery when in use.

Das Nuvens is a collection of hybrid products, designed to bring a touch of surrealism to the table. All parts are reuse of materials discarded by the fast-fashion textile industry. The modularity of the pieces allows the creation of unique compositions, versatile for different uses and that encourages to keep the product visible, without having to put away. Various colors are available for the best harmonization with the environment. Light and meaningful, as are the meals in good company.

The poetry of the clouds is materialized by the hands of talented artisans who reuse and resignify waste from the textile and fast-fashion industry. A new technique is discovered by cutting the fabrics received from large industries into long strips that are then rolled and spiraled. The composition of the rolls forms clouds of different sizes: a set of placemat and cup holder come together to create a table runner, a pot holder, or a cloud of the imagination of a true banquet.

The collection was created with great affection with Das Catarinas, an atelier that works in a responsible manner with women artisans who use this craft to supplement the family income. All the products of the line are handmade with discards, disposal, and leftovers of the textile industry and fast-fashion: high-quality materials that in other circumstances would be wasted in the environment.

The clouds of imagination bring tasty dishes to the table while bringing the possibility of a more sustainable and dignified future.
